Phil and Keli WadeRev. Phil Wade came as our Senior Pastor in December, 2004. Pastor Phil was born in Knoxville, TN and was raised in Rome, GA. He obtained his bachelor of arts in theology and his master’s degree in theology from North Carolina School of Theology. Prior to coming to Trinity he served as Senior Associate Pastor and Minister to Singles at Calvary Baptist Church in St. Augustine, FL and Associate Pastor/Administration and Minister to Students at Crosspointe Baptist Church in Millington, TN. Before his call to serve in the local church he was a part of the music evangelism group First Impression for 13 years. Phil, and his wife Keli, have been married since 1981and have 2 children, Brian and Maridith.

Kerry and Debbie TygrettRev. Kerry Tygrett serves as the Executive Pastor over Administration and Missions Ministries. Kerry is originally from Kentucky and was raised in Millington, Tennessee. After graduating from the University of Memphis, Kerry spent the next twenty plus years in law enforcement as an investigator before being called into the ministry in 2003. After completing two ministerial internships at Crosspointe Baptist Church in Millington, TN, Kerry began his seminary training at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Kerry has 2 adult children: Dustin, who is a United States Marine married to Melinda with granddaughter Emma; and a daughter, Lauren. Kerry has served at Trinity since May, 2006.



Mark and Emerale OwensRev. Mark Owens serves as the Associate Pastor/ Student Ministries. Mark is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana College where he met his wife Emerale, also a graduate of Louisiana College. After college Mark married Emerale in December 1996 and worked for a large hospital in Central Louisiana for five years. Following God’s call Mark attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated in 2003. Mark and Emerale currently have three daughters Abby, Maddie and Olivia.

Rev. Johnny Lane serves as the Associate Pastor /Education and Assimilation. He is a life-long resident of the Memphis and Millington Tennessee area. He married his high-school sweetheart Kim in 1986. They have two sons, Josh and Adam, and one daughter, Hope. Johnny surrendered to full-time ministry in July of 2000, and has served full-time on staff at Crosspointe Baptist Church since June of 2001 as the Associate Pastor of Assimilation, Discipleship, Outreach, Christian Counseling and Education. He holds a degree in Biblical Studies from Andersonville Theological Seminary. Johnny and Kim's passion is reaching people for Christ and growing the Kingdom of God through the Sunday school ministry of the local church.
Mrs. Kathy Williams serves as the Director of Children’s Ministry. She and her husband James have been married for 22 years and have 4 children- Molly, Emily, Jackson and Cooper. They moved to Ocala from Orlando in 1995. Kathy graduated from Edgewater High School and attended Seminole Community College. Kathy has been in Children’s Ministry for 25 years. She began serving as Assistant Director of Killarney Klubhouse in Winter Park, Florida when she was still in high school and she served as Nursery Coordinator/Children’s Director at a church in Ocala before coming to Trinity. Kathy’s passion is to not only raise up the next generation of Christ-followers but also to partner with parents as they raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Rev. Andy Newsome came as our Associate Pastor of Music & Worship in December, 2011. Andy was born and raised in Easley, SC. He obtained his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Anderson University and his Master of Church Music degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Andy surrendered to God’s call to music & worship ministry in 2002 before completing college. Prior to coming to Trinity, Andy has served churches in SC, NC, and GA. Andy and his wife, Michelle, have 2 children, James and Samantha. His passion is to lead others to encounter God in worship through biblical, culturally relevant worship experiences.
